The All Ordinaries Index ended the day 12.9 points lower to close at 3755.4.
Queensland Gas Limited (QGC) gained 79.7% to close at $5.75 after agreeing to the terms and conditions of BG Group’s $5.75 (per share), unconditional, on-market takeover offer.
Lihir Gold Limited (LGL) gained 5.4% to close at $1.65 after reporting record Gold production of 250,000 oz for the Quarter, up 41% on the previous Quarter.
